im going on this in 12 days cited please tell me is this a good ship, what are some things i have to do? were are the frozen yogurt machines( not ben and jerrys)? is the food good? how are the shows please tell me everything i need to do

Answer :
Congratulations on your upcoming cruise thats really exciting!

Indipendance of the Seas is a great ship with SO much to do, see, taste & more - I am sure there will be frozen yogurt in a number of the casual dining cafe's (I know Johnny Rockets has amazing milkshakes too) - you will be given tons of great information on all of your choices, where everything is and what there is to do once you board. Every day you'll be given an itinerary of the day's activities for you to choose from also, so you'll never get a chance to be bored!

The food is great and available 24 hours a day. Check out the description of your ship, it lists all of the dining locations and info on what the food choices will be. The shows are great, with broad way style, comedy shows, ice skating shows, live music in many styles and in many places

Best wishes on your cruise, have a great time!!

Answer :
All you need to do is relax and enjoy the ship. It's a bit late to be doing much research on the ship itself and any ports you're visiting, but you can go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then go to any topic that piques your interest.

Have a great cruise!!

On Independence Of The Seas (Royal Caribbean Cruise),are the movies in the theater new(Like actual theaters)?

Are they new like the ones in the theater at the moment or just come out on dvd?

Answer :
I just cruised on the Liberty of the Seas (sister ship to the Independence) and went to their movie theater a couple times. The movies they showed were ones released within the past year that would be available on DVD in stores. I saw the latest James Bond movie, the Disney movie Bolt, and there were others that had been recently released to DVD.

Answer :
no, but pretty new
I went December 20th '09 and they showed many Christmas movies old and new as well as Watchmen, Obsessed, and Duplicity. It's fun to go see one movie or so though.
Have fun on your trip!

Answer :
no. i was on that ship and they show newish movies. when i was on it, we watched Elf.

Which cruise is better or the one u like more....Freedom, liberty, or Independence of the seas? and why?

i have only been on freedom and i loved it, im planning to cruise in the freedom class again, but i dont know which ship to choose. help.

Answer :
Assume you are talking about Royal Caribbean as those are their 3 Freedom class ships. They will all be pretty similar, just depends on the itinerary. Loved them all, but my favorite was Liberty. Liberty has the most fantastic cruise director -- lots of unusual and fun shows and activities.

Answer :
Why don't you check out each of there websites?

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruis… - Freedom

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruis… - Independence

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruis… - Liberty

They are pretty much the same, good luck picking the best one!

Answer :
Those 3 ships are all the same, they are sisters. The only differences will be decor and the names of restaurants etc.

Anybody been on independence of the seas ship - what time do I need to board for 5pm departure ?

Anybody been on independence of the seas ship - what time do I need to board for 5pm departure ?

Answer :
Haven´t had the pleasure of being on this ship but from their website:

How far in advance do I need to check-in for my cruise?

A: Royal Caribbean International requires guests to be checked in no later than 60 minutes prior to the scheduled sailing time*. Guests arriving late will not be permitted to sail. This supports government regulations in some ports that require cruise lines to submit a departure manifest 60 minutes prior to sailing. Guests are requested to complete Online Check-In no later than 3 days prior to the cruise in order to expedite the pier check-in process.

*Some sailings may require an earlier check-in time. Please refer to your Guest Vacation Documents for specific information.

Happy sailing! :-)

Answer :
I haven't been, but I know each Cruise line has their own rules about when you have to be on board. We just got back from a Disney Cruise. We had to be on board by 4pm for a 5:30pm departure. Best to check with your cruise line.

I'd get there as early as possible, because the sooner you're on the ship, the more time you have to start the fun.

Have a great time

Answer :
don't try to board too early, the ship has to be emptied and cleaned before any boarding... you'll just end up waiting in the debarkation area, and it gets hot in there... take your time and board at your leisure... you'll have plenty of time to party... ENJOY!!!
